There is so much to see and do in Virginia Beach! We love Sandbridge because
it is a quiet beach town, but close by you can find many things to do.

Virginia Beach Visitor’s Information

Three distinct beach experiences, pristine natural wonders, a vibrant downtown district, fresh coastal cuisine and a variety of year-round festivals. This is the life, which is why it’s not surprising that Virginia Beach has been consistently ranked among the country’s best beach destinations. From the Atlantic Ocean to the Chesapeake Bay, Virginia Beach offers a coastal vacation that’s nothing short of extraordinary.

False Cape State Park

We love hiking and biking into the refuge.  The gravel path is very sunny and you are sure to spot blue heron, turtles, butterflies and other wildlife.  Cars cannot go past the visitors center but there is a 4-hour, ranger-led tour of the Sanctuary by open tour bus.
